Questions about benefits
How do I activate my digital alumni library card?
Once your membership is verified on the portal, go to your Dashboard, then Membership Profile, to download your digital QR-enabled Alumni Identity Card. Present it at the entrance of the Faculty of Law Library for access.
Are legal research databases accessible remotely?
Yes. Life and Patron members receive institutional login credentials for off-campus access to indexed search repositories, journal archives and partner database discounts.
How can I take part in the mentorship programme?
Registered alumni can open the Mentorship tab in the Dashboard and enrol as a Senior Mentor to guide young graduates, or as a Mentee to connect with chamber heads and corporate counsel.
Can alumni book Faculty of Law seminar halls for conferences?
Yes. Verified Life Members may reserve the Faculty seminar halls and moot court auditoriums for academic roundtables, legal aid workshops and book launches at subsidised rates, subject to prior committee clearance.
What is the difference between Regular, Associate and Lifetime membership?
Every membership is for life and is paid once. Regular (₹ 1,000) is where everyone starts. Associate (₹ 5,000) is open after three years as a Regular Member and adds a permanent directory listing and full voting rights. Lifetime (₹ 5,00,000) is open after five years as an Associate Member and adds priority seating at centenary events, the private lounge, the digital archive, a place on the Legacy Wall and a dedicated concierge.
